Founded by Mrs Amarachi Ifeanyi-Ngige (fondly called Mrs A, by the students and Parents in our learning community), EYT Academy was born out of a desire to bridge the gap between children who receive adequate support and those who don't. As a seasoned educator with over a decade experience in top Nigerian schools, before starting my tutoring company, I witnessed firsthand the disparity in academic performance in students due to inadequate support due to large classroom sizes,and a lack of personalized learning experiences.
Starting as a one-person team in 2019, I provided personalized 1-1 tutoring (fondly called home lessons in Nigeria) to students across the Lekki-Ajah axis, visiting up to 7 homes daily.
The Pandemic!
The COVID-19 pandemic presented us with a challenge: to adapt our onsite classes to an online format.
Embracing change and rising to the occasion, we swiftly transitioned our academic support services from onsite classes to online classes. This strategic shift enabled us to continue providing top-notch education to our students, uninterrupted.
The transition to online classes not only ensured continuity but also opened doors to new opportunities. We expanded our reach, connecting with students from diverse locations and fostering a more inclusive, accessible learning environment.
As we navigated this change, we remained committed to delivering exceptional academic support services.
Today, we proudly offer online classes that cater to the evolving needs of our students, in the United Kingdom,Scotland, Ireland, United States of America, Canada,Nigeria, Turkey, Dubai, Australia and counting, empowering them to succeed in an ever-changing world.
